The watch
Citizen Crystal Seven with 43 jewels from 1967 – the rarest and most sought-after model in the Crystal Seven series, which also featured versions with 21, 23, 27, 30, and 33 jewels. The watch is in very good condition, with only minor signs of wear on the case and a few light scratches on the crystal. Recently fully serviced, it comes fitted with a brand new leather strap, making it ready to wear and enjoy. A true collector's piece. Fun fact: this was the world's thinnest watch with day/date complication at that time.
Details
Jewels in a watch, usually synthetic rubies, reduce friction in the movement’s parts, improving accuracy and durability. They act as bearings at key points, for smooth operation and minimizing wear over time.
