The watch
This is a fully original example of the rare European Master Mariner Voguematic, kept in excellent condition. Powered by the 25 jewel Calibre 833, it ticks at 19.800 beats per hour.
The stainless-steel case remains in mint, unpolished condition, with sharp factory lines and no notable wear. The lume dot is missing, and the bezel shows some light wear near the 10 o’clock position. The caseback displays only minor surface scratches consistent with age.
The original plexiglass crystal shows one small, unobtrusive mark between 8 and 9 o’clock that is not noticeable during normal wear.
Dial and hands are 100% original with no retouching. Strong printing, clean lume, and beautiful even ageing. Crown, Tropic strap, and all external components are original to the watch. The strap attached has minor age-related cracking, that’s why a NOS tropic strap is included.
Mechanically, the watch runs well at approximately –20 seconds per day. Service history is unknown, so so a routine service is recommended if the watch will be worn regularly.
Included with the watch is the original purchase receipt from the first owner. No box or warranty papers.
Only 501 pieces were produced of this watch.
