The watch
Very similar to the classic King Seiko 5625-7000, but a little bit different. Nicknamed ‘Blocky’, this KS variation on the regular 5625-7000 differentiates itself by the applied indices, which look like miniature sofas. True to our standards, it features an unpolished case, a fresh service and minimal signs of use; ready for many years of reliable timekeeping.
The watch is in exceptional, unpolished condition with a sharp case. The silver sunburst dial is pristine, and the crystal has a few minor scratches visible in the photos.
It comes fitted with a new Seiko leather strap. What makes this piece unique is the gold medallion on the caseback, which is in perfect condition. These are often damaged or missing due to friction and sweat.
The watch has been fully serviced by a professional watchmaker in January 2026. The service included complete disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, and reassembly.
Details
The watch is powered by the Caliber 5625A automatic movement, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour for a hi-beat rate of 8 beats per second. Developed in the late 1960s, it was designed to compete with high-accuracy Swiss dress watches.
