The watch Here we have a classy Seiko quartz from the late 1980s. The 36mm case houses an off-white dial with a subtle linen texture. Combined with sharp dauphine hands and polished indices, it makes for a clean and understated dress watch.
The watch is in unpolished condition, and the case and crystal show light signs of use. It has been fitted with a new Seiko leather strap.
Details The caseback carries a Japanese commemorative engraving marking the 20th anniversary of the Akita Corporate Association. It was presented by Honjo Motors, a local automotive company in Akita Prefecture.
Such engravings were commonly used for corporate milestone gifts in Japan during the 1970s–1980s, adding a small piece of regional history to the watch.
