The watch
Beautiful duotone Seiko Session from 1985, produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market (JDM). It features a brushed steel case, a polished gold bezel, and a beautifully textured dial. Pretty thin, so it slides right under the cuff of your shirt.
In excellent, unpolished condition. The crystal is scratch-free, while the case and bracelet show only minor signs of wear. Overall, it still looks new.
The bracelet fits up to a maximum wrist circumference of 18,5 cm, but it contains a spring-loaded extension piece which extends to a total of 19,5 cm. The watch has been cleaned and is ready to wear.
Details
The Seiko 8N45 is a modern quartz movement used in fashion-forward models such as the Seiko Session line. It offers straightforward functionality with hours, minutes, central seconds, and a date complication at the 3 o’clock position.
The movement includes a hacking seconds hand for precise time setting and is powered by a standard battery. Accuracy is rated at around ±20 seconds per month. As part of the 8N series, the 8N45 is built for low-maintenance, everyday use.
