In very good unpolished condition. The bezel and the bracelet show some minor signs of wear, but the case is in near-new condition, with just a tiny blemish on each side. There is some corrosion on the inside of the clasp, as seen on the pictures.
While most of the watches we offer were produced for the Japanese domestic market, we think this example was produced for the Singaporean market. The difference is in the day wheel, which is usually Kanji and English for the Japanese market and English, French or Spanish for different markets. This watch has English and Roman numerals with a funky red square for Sunday.
Details This model was produced in three phases, the earliest version (reference 7009-3110) was produced in the 80’s and 90’s. After that, Seiko released an updated version which was the 7S26-3110 with the rock solid 7S26 movement. The third iteration (officially named SNXJ89) was the 7S26-0500, which has a transparent caseback. This also made the case a bit thicker, so if you like a thin case to stuff under your cuff, this 7S26-3110 is the one you’re looking for.
