The watch
Simple and understated, this Seiko Spirit was originally produced for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM). Despite its clean dress-oriented design, it offers several practical features, including a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, screw-down crown and reliable Seiko quartz movement.
The dial features a subtle leaf-pattern texture that becomes visible under direct light, adding depth without overpowering the minimalist design. The day display can be switched between Japanese Kanji and English, a characteristic detail often found on JDM Seiko models. Thanks to its slim profile, the watch wears comfortably and slides easily under a shirt cuff.
The case and bracelet show minor signs of use, while the sapphire crystal remains free of scratches.

Like many Seiko quartz calibres of the period, the 7N93 was built with durability and practicality in mind. The movement is known for its stable accuracy, robust construction and long service life, making it a dependable workhorse that still performs well decades after production.
