The watch Seiko Type II with a striking green dial that really comes alive in the light. The watch is in excellent, unpolished condition. If you look closely you’ll find minor signs of wear, but overall it presents very close to new old stock. The original Seiko-signed clasp shows some light corrosion.
The day display can be set in either Japanese Kanji or English, and the quickset functions as it should. A spring-loaded clasp extender has been added, allowing it to fit wrists larger than the original 18.5 cm maximum.
Details The Seiko Type II line was introduced in the mid-1970s as part of Seiko’s early quartz range. These models were positioned as reliable, mid-tier options below Grand and King Quartz, but still built to a high standard for the time. They use in-house Seiko quartz movements, typically with day-date functionality and solid base metal cases. Accuracy was generally rated around ±15 seconds per month, which was competitive in that period.
